is the CEO of STEAM Powered Learning, LLC.   Always involved in professional development opportunities to improve her classroom instructional effectiveness, Mare applied to work as a summer teacher counselor at the U.S.Space & Rocket Center’s Space Academy for Educators in Huntsville, AL, after which she was immediately offered a full time position as an Education Programs Manager.  After three years in this position, Mare was promoted to the Director of Education for the U.S. Space & Rocket Center (USSRC) and Space Camp where she worked until 2011.  This position included management of the Space Academy for Educators Program, as well as curriculum development, workshop implementation, and staff training for all youth and adult space camps and the USSRC museum.  Mare also helped create a satellite Space Camp for Educators in Polk County, FL.  is the President of STEAM Powered Learning, LLC Jason has been teaching in Lakeland, Florida, for fifteen years; twelve of those at Crystal Lake Middle School/Crystal Academy of Science and Engineering. Jason implemented and managed an after school program at his school for five years. his duties included hiring staff, making student schedules, creating and implementing the curriculum and overseeing the budget. is Vice President of STEAM Powered Learning, LLC  In 2005, she received a scholarship for Space Camp for Educators in Huntsville, Alabama. She immediately started to implement what she learned at Space Camp for Educators in her own classroom. She returned to work for Space Camp for Educators from2006 through 2011. In 2011, she helped bring a week long Space Camp to teachers in Polk County Florida, where she could spend more time with her son and husband. During the summer of 2014, she spent two weeks teaching STEAM lessons in Piarco, Trinidad.  STEAM Powered Learning provides professional development opportunities to educators throughout the United States, and around the world, in the areas of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics).  In addition, we facilitate STEAM-based camps for students from kindergarten through high school.   We are a team of educators who are experienced in the areas of STEAM, having facilitated professional learning programs both in and out of the United States of America. We strongly believe that STEAM-based activities should be offered to educators and students alike, and are eager to share our knowledge and expertise with others.
