In the beginning it was just an office, an old 85′ Chevy pickup, a rusty trailer and a dream. David’s idea was to parlay a family construction background and several years as a representative for another waterproofing company into his own StayDry Waterproofing business. Simply put, David cares about people. His passion is infectious and he is a constant reminder to everyone at StayDry: “If we don’t take care of the customer, someone else will.” Yvonne is an administrative detail genius. If David hadn’t married her, he’d have to find her. Yvonne is that quintessential behind the scenes force so critical to any business. She prefers to forgo the accolades others get for a job well done and focus on accounting, billing, cash flow, banking and all the contingent particulars that make everyone else’s work possible. StayDry is a true family business. Yvonne and David share the highlights and headaches of ownership, having created a rock solid partnership. With over 30 years business and financial experience; Sonny coordinates our “transition” financial details. He receives all the Project Managers customer quotes and breaks them down for each department at StayDry; material requirements, expenses, commissions and the like. Uniquely, Sonny is also involved in time-study data; helping to make sure StayDry can provide the highest quality service for the lowest possible price. Wayne has over 40 years invested in the foundation, crawlspace and water proofing profession. He is the most trusted man in this business. Wayne’s approach is exacting; no more or less than each customer’s situation requires. He loves helping people. Since 1973 Wayne has designed installed and perfected waterproofing in Michigan. Nobody does it better. No one helps you understand the “how” and “why” of your specific needs better than Robert. He has been in home improvement and basement waterproofing for over 20 years, and been problem solving since birth. Robert’s philosophy is “once a problem is defined … the problem can be solved”. Detailed and focused, most visits also involve advice regarding collateral issues even if they don’t involve StayDry. Nothing goes unnoticed. An over-achiever, Perry worked for GM for over 30 years while simultaneously building and remodeling homes. Perry is profoundly knowledgeable is all aspects of construction, big and small. He conducts most pre-project inspections and verifies our original consultant analysis … giving us confirmation on the solutions. Customers love the communication feedback when Perry’s on site. Keith is our youngest salesman, but not the least experienced. He’s literally worked in all facets of waterproofing since high school; from installer to project manger. Here at StayDry his role is defined as helping homeowners as their trusted expert. He identifies potential issues and then solves them,,,period. Brian Taylor is special. He’s highly trained, not only in basement waterproofing but all home systems like ventilation, insulation and air quality. He’s BPI certified [Building Performance Institute] and has studied written reports on 1000’s of homes. Brian’s a good listener, highly qualified and exemplifies the StayDry philosophy of helping people feel more comfortable with the restoration of their home. Ryan is yet another example of StayDry attracting team members with a brood and lengthy background in the building industry. He’s one of those guys who came in with a goal to grow with the company, has stuck to his plan. He’ll strike you immediately as someone whose figured out communication with the customer is paramount. Travis has unique specialty experience, like crawl space work and it’s a real plus in this business. Another recent addition, he’s a hard worker, takes pride in what he does and aims to please in any situation. Customer’s like Travis. We do too. Bryan has been part of our recent growth and came on board last year. He has quickly filled several critical rolls from a company perspective: for instance he’s great at service, is a marvelous trouble shooter and is excellent at finishing details on projects.
