Matt Molchan has held a variety of increasing responsibility roles since he joined Digirad in May 2007 via the acquisition of Ultrascan, Inc., the southeast’s largest mobile ultrasound business. These roles include Chief Operating Officer of Digirad Ultrascan Solutions from May 2007 to January 2012, President of Digirad Imaging Solutions until January 2013, President of Digirad beginning January 2013, and most recently Chief Executive Officer of Digirad since July 2013. Prior to joining Ultrascan, Inc., he held various executive level positions in business development, finance and operations at Somera, Inc. and Equifax, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the United States Air Force Academy and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Southern California. Virgil Lott has held the role of President, Diagnostic Imaging since February 2013. He was previously the Sr. Vice President of Operations since October 2009. From December 2007 to October 2009, he was Vice President of Customer Support and Operations. He joined Digirad in February 2006 as Director of Field Service. He has been in Medical Imaging Field Service for over 35 years, both as a Field Service Engineer and in various Field Service Management positions. Prior to coming to Digirad, he was the Vice President of Field Service at BC Technical; a multi-vendor service company. He held several management positions at Philips Medical Systems and ADAC Laboratories including; Region Service Manager, Director of PET Customer Service, and National Installations Manager. He received training in electronics from the US Army and Electronic Design Engineering Technology from Capitol Radio Engineering Institute. He also holds a B.S. in Business Administration from California Coast University. Martin Shirley became President of DIS in January of 2016. Prior to that role, he was Senior Vice President of Digirad Imaging Solutions Sales and Marketing since January of 2012. In June of 2010, he was appointed Vice President of Sales & Operations for Digirad Imaging Solutions. From January 2008 through June of 2010, he served as Vice President of Sales for DIS. Prior to this, he served in a variety of roles during his tenure at Digirad including National, Regional and Territory Sales Management positions in both the Digirad Imaging Solutions Division and the Product Division.
