Stack the Caps, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established in 2008 by Camp Starlight to honor Brielle Namer, an inspiring former camper who tragically passed away from cancer. The initiative organizes annual events aimed at collecting and providing new baseball caps for children battling cancer. Since its inception, over 400 feet of caps have been collected, with institutions like Memorial Sloan Kettering and Children's Hospital Boston receiving donations. The organization aspires to reach the symbolic milestone of stacking one mile of caps. Key figures driving this heartfelt cause include Hayley Namer, a fifth-year university student who was inspired by her mentor Brielle for a decade at Camp Starlight. She currently works as an Assistant Division Leader and actively champions the Stack the Caps mission to honor the memory of her campmate year-round. Another key figure is Jason Namer, a seasoned educator with significant ties to both Camp Starlight and its outreach missions; his role as Head Counselor during summer sessions helps further the initiative.
