Stability Engineering provides deep and broad experience in the design and analysis of residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, adaptive reuse and LEED-certified green building. We specialize in cost-effective problem solving and strive to provide the most efficient designs for our clients.  Stability Engineering has a staff of qualified engineers and design professionals who specialize in bringing technical knowledge and expertise to our clients. Pierre’s twenty years of experience in construction and engineering include municipal and religious facilities, single and multi-family residential projects, retail buildings, heavy industrial facilities, pulp and paper mills, and manufacturing and power facilities.  Beyond field engineering, Pierre oversees the company’s staffing and training, and he manages communication and coordination with clients and contractors.  Under Pierre’s management, Stability Engineering has completed over 1,500 projects in Georgia and throughout the southeast. Pierre holds Bachelor’s degrees in Construction Engineering and Civil Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic University as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from Loyola University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.  He is also a LEED accredited professional. Yan supplies extensive knowledge derived from her 10+ years experience in the structural engineering profession. Her expertise in steel and industrial structures provides the company with substantial analytical and design capabilities. Yan also has experience with reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, wood and masonry construction, as well as in-depth seismic assessment of government projects. Yan takes pride in her thorough approach and seeing projects through to completion. Yan holds a Bachelor’s & Master’s degrees in Structural Engineering from TongJi University. Chris has served as staff and field engineer on many projects during his six years at Stability Engineering, including residential, commercial, municipal, adaptive reuse, and historical preservation projects. His previous experience with project management benefits Stability’s ability to work with contractors and resolve on-site circumstances. He has experience with wood, masonry, steel, and cast-in-place and tilt-up concrete, as well as non-destructive testing of existing structures. Chris prides himself on finding creative solutions to engineering problems and working alongside clients to achieve effective building designs. Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Dejan has provided structural design and inspection services for Stability Engineering on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. His experience with installation and onsite monitoring has provided a background for site inspections and field work. Dejan has also helped to develop designs for wood, steel and masonry structures, including AutoCAD and REVIT drafting. Dejan is a graduate from the Technical College in Serbia. Jacob graduated from Kennesaw State University in December 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Before his start with Stability, he completed an internship in the construction/project management field. In addition to working for the company during his senior year, Jacob was an active member of the school’s ACI and ASCE chapters. During his time at Stability, Jacob has assisted with a variety of projects, and he is eager to continue developing his skills with the company. Matthew Smith received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia. During his time at SPSU, Matthew was involved with the school’s ASCE chapter in addition to interning part time at Stability Engineering. These experiences afforded him the opportunity to supplement his education with real world application in design and project development. Craig graduated from Kennesaw State University in the spring of 2017, with a degree in Civil Engineering. He served as an intern with Stability for his senior year of school, before joining the team full time after graduation. During his time with Stability Engineering, Craig has worked on many projects that have helped him to learn and grow as an engineer, including work with wood, masonry, concrete and steel members. Julie Coiron has served as accounting and business manager since the company’s origin.  She has set up the accounting and billing system, secured loans, and handled all areas of human resources and payroll.  She has researched, procured and effectively integrated Billquick and Quickbooks software as well as managed development of all marketing collateral. Julie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of New Orleans and a MS in Technical and Professional Communication from Southern Polytechnic State University. Janette’s 20+ years of experience includes corporate, legal, homeless services and hospice organizations, as well as leadership training through the Buckhead Business Association. Her unique blend of experience provides a rare combination of abilities to the web marketing and office management operations, enhancing Stability’s capacity to provide exceptional service to our clients. Janette has a degree in Business Administration from Shorter University. Stability Engineering welcomes Jacob Jeffcoat to the team. Jacob graduated from Kennesaw State University in December 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Before his start with Stability, he completed an internship in the construction/project management field.
