Sta n Pla Motel and the Sta n Pla Marina Resort are situated along the Florida’s Gulf Coast and just steps away from the white sugar sand of Clearwater Beach. This beach has been ranked as one of the most beautiful beaches in the United States & the World. Both the Sta n’ Pla Motel & Sta n’ Pla Marina Resort have the small hotel feel with a family friendly environment. Operated as a small family business we pride our selves on providing our guest a vacation that exceeds their expectations. This motel was like a 5 star The check in was fast and service was perfect. Everyone there was very helpful. I'm telling everyone about this place. We will be back soon. I want to thank everyone. 5/11/16 I LOVED my room at the Sta N Pla Marina Resort in Clearwater Beach! I booked it sight-unseen ahead of time & chose it for its reasonable price, although I thought the pictures of it on their web-site made it look a bit dull & uninteresting. But when I walked into the room I was VERY surprised! The room looked like a small apartment as it had a small kitchen area off to one side that made it feel like a separate kitchen, it was IMMACULATELY clean, the air conditioner didn't blow across the bed as it does it most motels (and I hate it when it does that!), the sheets were perhaps the softest I'd ever slept on and were perfectly ironed, the bed was very comfortable, and perhaps most surprising was that the room was very quiet, in spite of the fact that it sat right next to the pool & there were people outside laughing & swimming. Perhaps the white-noise of the a/c, a quiet background hum, covered up any noise, but the result was genuine peace & quiet. Something about the room looked like cottages that I used to stay in when I travelled along southern Florida beaches or into the FL keys. I actually stayed in Clearwater for an additional day just because I enjoyed the ambience of the room so much! Really! When I first checked in I went to their lower price room but that had already been promised to another visitor for the next day, so when I decided to stay I had to move into another room, this time a larger one-bedroom with a larger kitchenette, and they gave it to me at the same price as the smaller room. And the staff were all very accommodating and helpful. It's one block from the beach and some restaurants, and if you walk the block to the beach you can also take a very short (less than 1/2 block) to your left & sit on the deck of a larger hotel & have cocktails or soda & snacks & watch the Cormorants that line up on some wooden pilings next to a jetty that stretches into the ocean.
