JB is the former National President of the Private Care Association, a national association that supports consumer choice in private health care and the rights of caregivers who serve those consumers. For seven years he has been a member of the Board of Overseers for the men’s undergraduate college at Yeshiva University. Until 2014, when he sold the business, he was the CEO of United Elder Care Services, a company providing home health care in South Florida. Thereafter, he served as Vice President of Evergreen Private Care in Houston. He has also served as a court-appointed guardian since 1998.Currently, JB serves as President and CEO of St. Pete Care at Home and lives in St. Petersburg, Florida. He travels frequently for speaking and coaching engagements. St. Pete Care at Home is a Florida State Licensed Home Care delivery system servicing Pinellas and Pasco counties. We refer credentialed, verified, and screened caregivers who can provide custodial, and skilled services to both pediatric and geriatric consumers. Referred services may include both hourly and live-in options, either for a short term or long-term basis. Whether an elder’s decline in function occurs gradually or suddenly, St. Pete Care at Home can help facilitate a variety of community based resources. Such programs may include referrals to Elder Law Attorneys, Social Service Providers, and Medicare Home Health Services. St. Pete Care at Home routinely welcomes the participation of family advocates such as Geriatric Care Managers, Professional Court Appointed Guardians, and of course, parents, children, or spouses of those who have trusted our recommendation for themselves or their loved one. We provide a free intake assessment by a registered nurse to determine your in-home needs.
