About Spirit of the Gulf Spirit of the Gulf is a membership organization of female singers, who meet regularly to practice, perform, socialize, and have fun. We currently have over 100 singers of all ages, all walks of life, and all parts of Florida as well as many snowbirds from "up North". We are proud to have been voted Most Entertaining Chorus at three International competitions in Las Vegas, Hawaii, and Denver. Most recently, we competed in Las Vegas in the Fall of 2016 and have again qualified to compete at the International competition to be held in St. Louis, Missouri, in October of 2018. Between competitions we still love to perform in our local area. Spirit of the Gulf currently is home to a number of wonderful quartets, and we are very proud of them!
