Established in Medley, Florida in 1993 as SPICE TRADERS INTERNATIONAL, the company, the brainchild of Mr. Edwin Cho, set a goal of supplying the market in Florida and the Caribbean region with spices, herbs and seasonings from around the globe. After phenomenal growth in its’ first 5 year, the company was rebranded SPICES USA in 1998 to reflect its expanded goal to supply products throughout the continental US and to avoid infringement issues given the generic nature of the initial name. Over the years this family –owned business, whose genesis can be traced to Barbados has continued to grow and now has subsidiaries in Atlanta, Georgia; Hackensack, New Jersey and Barbados. Today, Spices USA trades spices from around the world to markets in North, South and Central America and the Caribbean. As business has expanded the breath of it’s operations has also had to expand to meet the needs of its’ customers. To address customer demands, Spices USA has expanded into the production of liquid and dry seasoning blends for itself and many private labels; Product Development, private label packaging, spice related equipment sale and the sale of health products.
