Walker Allen is an owner and CEO / President of Specialty Freight and Courier (SF&C), a regional transportation and logistics company operating 4 locations in Florida and serving 5 southeastern states. His responsibilities include the overall financial management of the company, development of its leadership, sales and marketing as well as the growth of the company footprint to reach the company 20/20 Vision. He graduated from The Episcopal School of Jacksonville, received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hampden-Sydney College and his Masters of Business Administration from The University of North Florida. Mr. Allen has served on the Board of Governors for Jacksonville Golf & Country Club, several committees for Christ Episcopal Church, Ponte Vedra and was a founding member of the Young Professionals for Covenant House Florida. The Young Professionals group, as of 2014, has donated more than $1.7 million dollars to help serve runaway, homeless and at-risk youth under 21. In addition, he is a long-term member of the JAX Chamber and a member of the GrowJAX Advisory Board, an initiative supporting second-stage growth companies in Northeast Florida. Mr. Allen was recently named as co-chair of the GrowJAX board. Under his leadership, Specialty Freight and Courier was named one of the Jacksonville Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Private Companies in 2011 and 2015. SF&C has also been featured in Florida Trend magazine. Brian Daniel is an owner and Senior Vice President – Operations of Specialty Freight and Courier (SF&C), a regional transportation and logistics company operating 4 locations in Florida and serving 5 southeastern states. His responsibilities include the development of its leadership, operational and service performance as well as the growth of the company footprint to reach the company 20/20 Vision. Bob Younger is the Director of Dispatch and Warehouse Operations for Specialty Freight & Courier (SF&C). He is responsible for our dispatch and warehouse operations in multiple cities, OSHA and DOT compliance, and managing all courier, box truck, and freight deliveries. He manages a staff of 11 employees. Mr. Younger joined our office staff in 2012 and has been promoted twice since. Prior to working at SF&C, he worked two years in restaurant management, five years for the City of Jacksonville, Tax Collectors Office and owned his own stone and tile installation business for five years. Mr. Younger has a Certification in Transportation and Logistics (CTL) at the University of North Florida, and is a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS). SF&C provides outstanding service for us. Their staff and drivers are conscientious, courteous, and professional. They demonstrate the ability to deliver on-time and provide quick and complete follow-through.
