Since it's foundation in 2014 by several executives of Major Studios, SPANGLISH MOVIES set itself the goal of offering Latin American filmmakers the know-how and credibility at the level of the major Hollywood studios. We work tirelessly to create partnerships with licensees around the world, allowing our associate creators to benefit from the transfer of rights to broadcast their productions to cinemas, free-to-air and subscription TV channels, streaming platforms and distributors of home-made formats in all possible markets worldwide. After more than 15 years of experience managing leading companies in the Fortune 500 listing and independent media initiatives, Gustavo applied his knowledge as Managing Director of 20th Century Fox to re-ignite the operations of that company in several territories, leading them to convert this Major in a market leader for 10 consecutive years. Gustavo has a BS in Engineering, as well as Marketing and Economics degrees from UC Berkeley and UC San Diego, and holds three media technology patents. Social communicator graduated at UCAB (Venezuela). He has over 10 years of experience working for media such as Circuito X, cinematographic exhibitors such as Cines Unidos and distributors like 20th Century Fox. He has made corporate videos, documentaries and short films, as well as research on film financing in emerging markets and business opportunities for filmmakers. He also serves as director of the portal AmoIrAlCine.com. For over 20 years, Sigrid was responsible for the operational and logistical management of 20th Century Fox's office in Venezuela, ensuring the arrival and delivery of marketing materials and films to cinemas and taking accurate control of the finances of the company for that territory. It's a enterpreneur by vocation, applies this knowledge to the administrative and sales follow-up towards our clients. SPANGLISH MOVIES was founded in Puerto Rico to take the best of Latin American cinema to screens around the world. We are an international distributor founded by Latinos, with global reach and firm intention to be an essential part of the growth of Spanish-speaking cinema as an industry.
