Space Coast Vettes, Inc., a non-profit organization established in May 1977, is dedicated to enhancing the enjoyment and community involvement of Corvette enthusiasts. Known for its commitment to promoting organized competition among its members as well as fostering greater enjoyment of their Corvettes, the club also takes an active role in supporting various charitable endeavors within the community. Over the years, Space Coast Vettes has successfully sponsored numerous fundraising events benefitting organizations such as Space Coast Honor Flight and Hacienda Girl Ranch. Each year the club proudly supports the Annual Florida Vietnam and All Veterans Reunion by participating in a significant journey escorting the traveling Vietnam Wall from Eastern Florida State College Campus to Wickham Park. Based in Melbourne, Florida, within Brevard County, Space Coast Vettes holds its mailing address at PO BOX 360438. With an online presence established via its website (spacecoastvettes.com), it remains accessible for inquiries and broader engagement with prospective members and the community. Membership offers dual inclusion in both the local club’s activities along with the larger scope that aligns under the National Corvette Club Council. For joining or renewing memberships, fees are set at $49 per family annually; however, a one-time charge of $10 each for initial SCCC and NCCC memberships constitutes new membership dues while late payments incur an additional fee. The organization’s recent administrative event involved amending and restating articles on July 11, 2024, with its latest annual report filed in March 2024. As a Florida-registered corporation of Type DOMNP, Space Coast Vettes remains led by Jim Davis as Governor, Fay Ziegler as Treasurer, and Peter Hill as Comptroller.
