Business Etiquette The Southern School of Etiquette provides etiquette training to individuals as well as groups. The training is offered to children, teens, young adults, organizations and corporations. Our goal is to bring the essence of civility to the client in a positive and entertaining environment. The knowledge gained will empower individuals with the social graces and self-confidence to achieve a successful life. We provide the participants with the necessary building blocks for a positive future through poise, confidence, integrity and leadership. Mastering these skills is of utmost importance in today’s society. Well polished social and etiquette skills will give the student the edge needed to stand out in their professional as well as personal life. The results are increased self-confidence, improved communication, image awareness, proper dining skills and professional growth. Participants will learn the power of etiquette and why it is a valuable skill that will continue to serve them throughout their entire lives, in any variety of setting or circumstance. Diane Carr founded the Southern School of Etiquette after receiving her certification from the prestigious American School of Protocol. The goal of the Southern School of Etiquette is to empower individuals with the social graces and self-confidence to achieve a successful life. Diane’s career began as a business high school teacher. After fifteen years in secondary education, she developed programs for Workforce Training and Development for the local community college. Many of these sessions focused on preparation for career enhancement and growth. This opportunity opened additional training opportunities in professional and personal development for local businesses, organizations and institutions as well as area youth. Diane routinely observed in her career that there is an unmet need for improvement in etiquette among our youth as well as adults today. Founding the Southern School of Etiquette was the obvious next step to provide education to individuals in addressing school, social, and professional situations with civility.
