Southern Ghosts was founded in 2001 as a way to take fellow investigators to amazing cities and allow them to soak in the history, culture and ghost stories. We also wanted to have a way for you to get your hands "dirty" in the haunted places you have heard ghost stories about. Nothing was more annoying to me than being on a ghost tour and hearing about all the amazing stuff that happens inside these properties and not being able to go inside. We allow you to do just that. We aren't an "EGO Tour" as I call them. I want stories. I want you to be changed by what you discover. We are all spiritual beings, most of us are just starving. Come and realize that the amazing and unknown is happening around us all the time. If you have ever wondered if something else is out there, we want you to know you aren't alone. Come give us a try, you won't leave disappointed. I get asked this question quite a bit. Let me fill you all in on whats been going on. I love investigating ghosts and enjoying the history of this job. I love my family more. A few years ago, my father, Ray Couch, was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. He fought as hard as he could, but over the past two years, we could see the end was in sight. I could not be gone from home if I could help it, so I discussed things with my crew and decided we would slow down and that I would never be gone more than a couple of hours from home. My father was very, very important to me and I was lucky enough to hear some "I'm proud of you, Son." and "I love you, Jr". We got to talk and just be. My dad passed away on June 12, 2015. I miss him and I always will, but I also know what we do is special so we are going to get back at it.
