Principles of Voice Production Prior to founding South Tampa Voice Therapy, Cara’s clinical experiences were in the acute care and outpatient hospital settings. She is certified in LSVT LOUD, trained in videostroboscopy, fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallow (FEES), modified barium swallow studies (MBS), and maintains various certifications in clinical approaches. Cara is a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), National Center for Voice and Speech (NCVS), and affiliate member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS- Tampa Bay chapter). South Tampa Voice Therapy, LLC (STVT) announced the addition of Videostroboscopy and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) to the services we offer. These services allow us to directly visualize vocal muscles and surrounding areas. Our new treatment facility allows the patient to watch the assessment process as it happens on a monitor. According to STVT owner Cara Bryan, “Once completed, our comprehensive voice and swallowing assessments are released to the referring physicians. These assessments provide a diagnostic tool for optimal patient care. Depending on the results of the evaluation, treatment may be provided by STVT, by a physician, or both.
