Welcome to Greater Tampa Swim Association and the world of swimming! We have a history of being one of the finest competitive swim teams in Florida Swimming and have been serving the Tampa Bay area since 1957. We are a non-profit program and our swimmers, coaches and parents are all proud of our past accomplishments and we are looking forward to an even brighter future.      We are pleased that you have shown an interest in our program. Inside you will find information about team objectives, registration and fees, swim meets, workout groups, annual events and much more. Because the world of competitive swimming can be confusing at times, and in fact seem overwhelming to new swimmers and their families, we want to help in any way we can.      GTSA strives to achieve excellence through individualized growth and team unity. We will provide quality leadership and instruction. Our coaching staff is experienced, highly trained and certified through USA Swimming. We maintain a safe team environment where every swimmer is encouraged to build friendships, work hard and have fun in the process of their development. We are a non-profit 501 C(3) year-round swim program with variety of members, ranging from the entry-level to National Qualifiers. GTSA provides an outstanding swimming program; which fosters the attributes of hard work, dedication, and determination in each of its swimmers. Our program also encourages the development of physical fitness, self-discipline and self-esteem enabling them to maximize their potential, both athletically and personally. is the Aquatics Director of Greater Tampa Swim Association and the president of the South Tampa Aquatic Team, Inc.  Todd has more than 20 years of coaching experience, having taught swimmers everything from stroke technique, goal setting, self confidence, commitment, and video analysis.  He works with all ages of swimmers from toddlers to teenagers, teaching proper technique and a love of the sport.
