Furniture is also used to hold objects at a convenient height for work (as horizontal surfaces above the ground, such as tables and desks), or to store things (e.g., cupboards and shelves) I enjoy all objects that surround me. I love to see new ideas come to life and see how they will be able to help people. The thing that drives me to design, or I would rather say, the force that drives me to design is the sense of being alive. It is the fulfillment of our spiritual need to create and learn. I draw my inspiration from everyday life. From nature to sky scrappers, anything can inspire great design. I love the feelings that come out of a great design project. The feeling of awe in an impressive space, the feeling of balance and comfort in a neatly designed furniture or space, the feeling of safety and belonging and so forth. Design is way much more than the eyes can see. I also love to help people create a space they’d love to spend time in. It is very fulfilling to watch a non-functional and without character house gradually transform into a vibrant and inspiring home. in support of the Housing Works’ mission to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS. We participated on Sam’s Cottage for Boys during the Fall of 2014. Kid Sanctuary Campus is a not for profit organization committed to providing a safe home for abused, abandoned and neglected children in Florida. Their mission is to ensure that each child receives the benefits of a sense of belonging and permanency in a caring and positive environment that nurtures self-esteem and hope. We were happy to participate in the “Design on a Dime” program. This was a 3-day benefit and sale show featuring more than 60 of the world’s top interior designers, who create unforgettable room vignettes with new merchandise, which is donated and then sold for up to 75% off retail pricing! Yes, we are very proud of participating in this benefit event because we love help others! We have been working with the fantastic team at Soto’s Interiors for years.
