Before becoming an attorney, I taught high school in Pinellas county for four years, mainly teaching American Government and Human Geography.  The same desire to help people that inspired me to become a teacher has now led me to further help others as a lawyer. Prior to starting my own firm, I was an Associate at Torrens Law Group, P.A., where I gained experience prosecuting and defending cases on behalf of homeowners and consumers in multiple areas of law. Above all, my firm is dedicated to consumer rights and protection.  Every day, individual consumers are confronted with problems related to their every day life.  Taking out a loan, buying a home, signing a lease, buying goods and services, and signing a contract could all have their own legal implications at some point.  My firm is focused on helping these everyday consumers navigate the legal path when they are faced with problems.   What is a "consumer" and how can I help? A quick search for "consumer protection law" reveals droves of information about federal and state laws regarding abusive debt collectors, harassing telemarketers, etc., and although I do focus on those federal and state laws, my view of the term "consumer" encompasses a much broader range of people affected by more than just lenders and telemarketers. Consumers are homeowners, home buyers, renters, buyers of goods and services, and those who enter into contracts.  They are everyday people who become unexpectedly entwined in a legal dispute.  I'm here to help guide you through the legal process in the hopes of achieving the most desirable outcome.  My practice is focused on using the law to hold larger corporations, business, and individuals accountable.
