Founded in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, ten gentlemen came together at the Eppy Group office in March of 2014. Four of the original men would go on to found Family Businesses of America. Originally started as a dinner meeting with the purpose of sharing stories, struggles, successes, laughter and friendship. They were able to build an open and safe round table environment for them to share conversation and grow professionally while discussing the unique characteristic they all shared, working with their family. Family business is different, and they knew it.
