Eventually, in His perfect time, God would develop that stir to go into a call to plant a church in the very community in which they were both born and raised. After spending a year at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale in a Church Planters Training Program, the time had come to step out in faith to pursue God’s call and plant Solus Church in Boca Raton, FL. As native South Floridians – Andrew tremendous excitement and expectation in both of their hearts for the work that Jesus is going to do through Solus Church! Planting a new church is also one of the greatest ways to enrich and revitalize the other local congregations in a city. As new churches tend to attract and reach non-believers they end up serving as “evangelistic feeders” (Tim Keller) to the other older, more established churches in the community. These established churches are able to provide more of a structural and stable discipleship experience for these new Christians. Additionally, new churches often surface new creative ideas and methods to the whole body of Christ. They end up serving, as sort of the “research & development” department for the entire Church because they operate with The more churches that are planted means the more people that are reached with Gospel. The more people that are reached with the gospel means more disciples developed and sent out as missionaries into the world. The more missionaries that are sent out into the world means the more nations engaged and lost people reached with the gospel. Jesus said it best, “The harvest truly is plentiful but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of Harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”.
