Solid Rock Community School is a K-12th grade accredited private school. Founded in 2004 with only 12 students, 3 staff members, and a vision, Solid Rock began on its journey to develop a nontraditional approach to “school” that truly recognizes each student’s individual academic, social, and emotional needs.
Solid Rock Community School is a school community that finds joy in work, in play, and in the discovery and realization of personal potential. Our dedicated and qualified staff provides a nurturing environment offering quality education and a low teacher-to-student ratio. Embracing diversity of background, culture, personalities, and thought, the school seeks to provide a life-altering opportunity to its students.
With word of mouth as the biggest contributor, Solid Rock Community School continues to grow each year in student enrollment and academic offerings. Solid Rock Community School offers open enrollment as space permits.
Solid Rock Community School is housed within two rental properties in the beautiful area of Tarpon Springs, Florida. Our upper level campus is on the property of Highest Praise Family Church. Our lower level campus, just three miles away, is located on the All Saints Episcopal Church property.
In the interest of safety, Solid Rock Community School uses a video surveillance system to monitor activity in and around the school buildings. During the school day we use the surveillance system to monitor the hallways, stairwells, computer labs, entrances/exits of the buildings, and school grounds. After hours the system is used to deter vandalism, trespassing, and/or theft and will provide school officials with information and evidence that would not otherwise be available. Each classroom is equipped with an intercom system to allow the teacher quick connection with the Principal’s office.
Solid Rock Community School also uses gymnasiums and sports fields in the nearby surrounding area for our sports programs.

It is a choice a school makes that serves two fundamental purposes: to ensure the quality of the institution or program, and to assist in the improvement of the institution or program. Each accrediting agency can provide different benefits to the institution/program.
