Armando Bardisa founded SMP Pharmacy Solutions in 2003 as South Miami Pharmacy, and has guided its growth from a single-location retail pharmacy into a multi-location specialty pharmacy without sacrificing the Company’s patient-first, service-driven approach. Dr.Bardisa brings 23 years of experience to the pharmacy industry, including 10 years at Walgreens during which he served as a regional manager and oversaw the turnaround of under-performing locations. Armando received his Bachelor’s of Science from Florida International University, and he received a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University. Brian Brito has been with SMP since 2003, and brings over 17 years of corporate and operational experience to the Company. At SMP, Brian provides business development, strategic planning and administrative leadership. Brian received a Bachelors of Health Science Administration, and a Master’s of Business Administration from Florida International University. Brian joined SMP as the Director of Sales and Marketing in 2011, and brings 18 years of experience in sales and business development to the Company. Currently, he leads SMP’s sales team and is responsible for all marketing efforts. Brian has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Miami. Eddy Lopez joined SMP Pharmacy Solutions in 2015, bringing in over 10 years of pharmacy operational experience to the Company. Eddy oversees SMP’s daily operations, project development and project execution. Guillermo Navarro, has over 25 years of experience in managerial finance. As interim CFO, he provides transactional support, including financial diligence, performance reporting, and serves as the line of communication between operations and finance teams. By giving back to the communities we support in our area of specialties has been a very rewarding part of the SMP team. Where We Are Involved Since 2003 Founder & CEO, Armando Bardisa of SMP Pharmacy Solutions and his dedicated team have been very active in the community in a number of areas. The specialty pharmacy’s community involvement over the years has been with several local and national foundations. The Internship program lasts 30 days for each participant, and gives students real-world pharmacy experience, making them more competitive in the job market upon graduation. First, there’s a screening for anti-HCV antibodies in the blood. Second, and only if the first test is positive, a ribonucleic acid (RNA) test is used to confirm the presence of HCV.
