That being said, we jump 350 out of 365 days a year! You should wear comfortable clothes appropriate for the season. Shorts and T-shirt for a hot day are fine, and if it’s colder, long pants and a comfortable long sleeved shirt. Please wear sneakers – no sandals. If you don’t have sneakers with you, we can provide a pair. The parachutes used today bear little resemblance to the classic round parachutes of years past. Today, nearly all jumpers use “ram-air” parachutes. These are rectangular in shape and, when open, act like an airplane wing. They are more like gliders than umbrellas. The aerodynamics of the parachute provides it with exceptional maneuverability, allowing the jumper to land almost anywhere he/she wishes. This wing shape is also what makes the tiptoe soft landings possible. That being said, we are happy to take you to any altitude that the plane will go (up to 13,500 ft) for the same price!
