ABOUT SIBEX, INC. Formed in 1983, Sibex was incorporated as a multifunctional electronic manufacturing business in Clearwater, Florida. Since that time, this Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) moved its corporate and sales headquarters to Safety Harbor, Florida and has expanded electronic manufacturing into four distinct divisions. Each of these divisions below have specialized capabilities and are focused on different markets and product groups. Sibex Systems Division — Located in Safety Harbor, Florida and builds specialized system box builds and custom LED products. Sibex Power & Cable Division — Located in Homosassa, Florida and dedicated to power products and cable and wiring harnesses. Sibex Lighting Division — Located in Largo, Florida and dedicated to building custom Super Bright LED lighting products. Sibex Electronics Division — New state-of-the-art facility in Crystal River, Florida designed for efficient medium to very high production printed circuit assembly. Sibex has over 120,000 square feet of combined manufacturing area but our employees are the essential elements of our success. M&B Dairy is graciously opening their farm in Lecanto for a third year to host over 800 people for an evening of delicious barbecue prepared by the Ag Alliance, top notch entertainment by the Dan Story Band, open bar, and lots of fun and networking. It is truly the place to be seen in Citrus County in October. On September 17 & 18, 2014, Sibex, Inc. introduced and volunteered basic hand solder training to approx. 17 students within a newly designed program “Automation and Production Technology” that is now being offered at Withlacoochee Technical Institute. The APT instructor opened the training to all students who were currently enrolled at WTI. There were 17 students from multiple WTI programs who voluntarily chose to participate with an informational session about Sibex, Inc. and manufacturing while also having a hands on opportunity with applying hand soldering and techniques.
