After a long career as an entrepreneur and senior business executive I decided that I now had the time to pursue a personal passion and get touch with my creative side. This ultimately turned into a retirement career as a professional photographer.
Like most people that become photographers I began my journey by doing wedding photography. It was great fun spending one of the happiest days in a persons life with them and it taught me a great deal about shooting in difficult conditions. Unfortunately today most couples are so eager to get to their drinking and dancing that they have little time for pictures. It became frustrating knowing that you were trying to take pictures that should last a lifetime in twenty minutes. I ultimately decided that this wasn’t the venue that would allow me to pursue my passion to its fullest.
