Rabbi Sharon is currently the spiritual leader of Shirat Sharon and Temple Beth Shira, located in Boca Raton, FL As a cantor, Rabbi Sharon served 3 DC Metro congregations – Beth El Hebrew Congregation, Baltimore Hebrew Congregation and Temple Shalom in Chevy Chase, MD from 1992-2013. For Fairfax County, Virginia, she served as a community chaplain for 3 years. Shirat Sharon Shirat Sharon is a 21st century model of synagogue. There are no dues, no building funds and you pay only for the services you use. We offer life cycle, education and counseling. Rabbi-Cantor Sharon Steinberg (“Rabbi Sharon”) comes to Shirat Sharon with 25 years of pulpit experience. In addition to her work with Shirat Sharon, she currently serves as a part-time spiritual leader for Temple Beth Shira in Boca Raton, FL. Prior to that, she was with Temple Beth El, Alexandria VA (2001-2013), Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, Baltimore, MD (1999-2001) and Temple Shalom, Chevy Chase, MD (1991-1999).
