The organization also offers non-residential support and guidance through seminars led by business leaders, community figures, and church representatives, alongside basic necessities like food baskets, clothing, and furniture. Its funding sources include special programs, private donors, foundations, mission support, and wills or trusts designated for charitable purposes. Under the leadership of President Charles Dimarco, Director Tom Chapman, and Director Hugh Higgins, Esq., Shepherd's Village maintains a high success rate—90% of families achieve self-sufficiency post-program. The organization's mission is to advocate on behalf of struggling single-parent families both locally and nationally, creating lasting change through affordable housing and enriching life-skills programs tailored to foster healing, hope, and sustainable futures for its community members.
