Right out of film school, Shelby had the opportunity to work alongside his close friends to produce and film the independent feature film, The Big Frozen Gumshoe. They raised funds for production via a successful Kickstarter campaign, and production took place over the summer of 2015. His title was Director of Photography, and the film is currently in the final stages of postproduction. After production wrapped, Shelby found himself working as a freelancer in the film industry, working with various production companies, as well as working on major motion pictures such as Moonlight, Bastards, and Baywatch.
