Sheryl Shade is principal of Shade Global, a strategic brand marketing and consulting firm based in New York and Florida. The company specializes in representation, brand extension and franchise management for a diverse portfolio of clients including Olympic athletes, documentary filmmakers and films, consumer product and media companies and public institutions. Prior to founding Shade Global, Sheryl served in executive marketing capacities, including her role as VP of Strategic Alliances and National Promotions at Walt Disney Pictures, focused on the development, management and evaluation of successful strategic alliances, which followed her tenure as Vice President of Worldwide Advertising at Hawaiian Tropic. Shannon officially joined Shade Global in May of 2014 and is based out of Mobile, AL. She previously worked with IMG College at the University of South Alabama in sponsorship sales for 2 years. As a graduate of the University of Alabama and former Varsity cheerleader, Shannon was an ambassador for the University at numerous community and charity events, alumni functions, and sporting events. Chellsie was a member of the 2008 Olympic Gymnastics Team in Beijing, China. She fought through a severe injury (a broken foot) to help the team win a silver medal. Following the 2008 Olympics she took time off from her gymnastics career to concentrate on coaching. In 2011 Chellsie announced she would begin training with the intent of making the 2012 Olympic team. She competed for the first time since the 2008 Beijing Olympics at the 2011 CoverGirl U.S. Classic where she won the all-around Silver medal. Following a solid performance at the 2013 Pro Gymnastics Challenge, Chellsie again got the “tumble bug” and began to “play around” in the gymnastics discipline of power tumbling in. In true Memmel fashion, she shocked the country when she shared in July that she is currently training with the intent of making the U.S. Tumbling and Trampoline Team for the 2013-2014 season and hopes to again represent her country at the World Championships.
