At Seychelle Media, we don’t like “fluff”. Jason is a “lead generator” at the core. After selling a successful seminar and direct marketing business in 2002, Jason leveraged his direct marketing experience and burgeoning online prowess to take advantage of a consumer void in the timeshare industry. In June 2003 he launched SellMyTimeshareNOW.com, and VacationOwnership.com, eventually becoming the world’s largest and most respected timeshare resale and rental marketplace. By 2009, Jason had attracted the attention of institutional investors and he recapitalized his company with a $10M investment from the Edison Venture Fund. Under Jason’s ownership, his company achieved over 30 million organic website visitors, $100M in revenue and recognition on Inc 5,000’s list of America’s fastest growing companies. Jason’s company was strategically acquired in 2012 by Vacation Innovations, where he went on to complete a 2-year stint serving as the acquiring company’s Chief Marketing & Development Officer. As a serial entrepreneur, by 2014 Jason had the itch to get back into the business of creating and innovating. In July of that year, alongside his professional and personal soulmate Brooke Tremblay, he went on to launch and co-found Seychelle Media, LLC. Today, Seychelle Media is experiencing extraordinary growth fueled by a focus on delivering highly qualified and targeted leads at the lowest cost possible for its valued clients. Brooke is a corporate communications leader-turned-digital-marketer. Formerly the Director of Corporate Communications for one of the largest privately held vacation ownership companies, she and her teams have led the brand communications strategy, development and execution of many large-scale resort and company acquisitions. Brooke designed the brand communications strategy and implementation for Orange Lake Resorts rebranding to Holiday Inn Club Vacations® in partnership with InterContinental Hotels Group. She led the company’s early adoption of social media engagement and online travel review response, winning the the company American Resort Development Association (ARDA) Gold in the category “Social Media Program” for the TripAdvisor Management Response program and placing as a finalist for the company’s Guest Blogger Program. She was also recognized as a Gold winner for the ARDA “PR/Communications Professional of the Year.” Prior to joining Jason & Brooke Tremblay as a member of the leadership team at Seychelle Media, Simon held prominent leadership positions spanning all aspects of the hospitality and leisure industries, ranging from President & Chief Operating Officer for Diamond Resorts International ® (DRI) which during his tenure had 420 branded and affiliated resorts and destinations in 35 countries; to President of Tesoro Resorts, Mexico; to Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for Royal Resorts & Grand Residences (A Leading Hotels of the World®), Mexico; to Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing for Shell Vacations LLC which during his tenure had 19 resorts located throughout North America; to General Manager for the largest independent leisure and theme park corporation in the United Kingdom. Simon has been awarded the American Resort Development Association’s Gold ARDY for Industry Marketing Executive of the Year and also Industry Volunteer of the Year. He has served twice on the American Resort Development Association’s Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He is a past faculty member of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) where he taught graduate level marketing and strategic management courses in the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration; and holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) with an emphasis in Marketing & Strategic Management from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). He has co-authored a textbook entitled “Marketing in Hospitality and Tourism: A Consumer Focus” and has published dozens of articles on the subjects of: Brand identity, image, positioning, personality, equity, and differentiation; Demographic, psychographic, behavioral and geographic segmentation; Marketing trends; International marketing; and Consumer research. He is the past Editor of the Journal of Restaurant and Food Service Marketing and past member of the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Contemporary Hospitality Management.
