Randy Sexton, Jr., owner of Sexton Palms, was born and raised in Vero Beach, Florida. His grandfather, Waldo Sexton, a native of Indiana, moved to Vero Beach in 1914. With great enthusiasm, he promoted Vero Beach from a business and tourism perspective. He was a visionary, who built many established landmarks in the area that are still popular today.  As a citrus and cattle rancher, Waldo founded The Indian River Products Co., pictured at right, (which is the present day Sexton Grove Service), and Oslo Citrus Growers Packing House.     Randy’s father, Charles R. Sexton, with whom Randy, Jr. partnered at present-day Sexton Grove Service, was a leader in the Citrus and business industry in Indian River County. One passion, among a vast array of others, was his deep appreciation of the many varieties of palms, and their ethereal beauty in the Florida landscape. Like his father and grandfather, Randy’s passion for palms, is eclipsed only by his love of everything in Indian River County and Vero Beach. To date, Sexton Palms is committed to cultivating superior quality palm trees, and providing the highest level of service to our customers. Our tree farm consists of many varieties of field-grown palms, situated on 150 acres of land, in the southern section of Indian River County. In an area once called Tiger Hammock, where a number of the Ais Native American tribe roamed long ago, Sexton Palms cultivates many varieties of elegant field-grown landscape palms. It is nestled in the southern corner of Indian River County, in Vero Beach, Florida. Many combined factors  contribute to the optimum growing conditions of our superior quality palms.
