Born on Easter Sunday, 2013, Clayton immediately brought the joy. A stickler for big smiles, he spends his days cultivating happiness. In his spare time, Clayton enjoys working on important construction projects on his back patio, indulging in delicious blue water ice at Shoobie’s, and making his friends and family laugh.   Clayton was recently promoted from Director of Joy following the arrival of his baby sister, Maren. Maren arrived in 2016 just in time to enjoy the holiday season with her family. She’s raising the bar on joy, and helping everyone she meets achieve the highest level of happiness possible. We’ve been vacationing in Florida for our kid’s Spring Break for the last 6 years. We vacation with another family so we usually end up staying in larger house which sometimes can be hard to find. We’ve used Sylvia and Serenity Beach Rentals for the last three years. I can’t say enough about the houses we’ve rented through Serenity. We’ve stayed in a couple houses in Cape San Blas and in Mexico Beach. Both properties where right on the Gulf and the properties were beautiful, well maintained, and in pristine working order. Making reservations with Sylvia were a breeze and we never had any issues. I like dealing with someone I know and can trust. I would recommend Silvia and Serenity Beach Rentals to anyone traveling in the Cape San Blas/Mexico Beach/St. Joe, FL area. This house was all it was presented to be and then some! We had a party of ten representing three generations. Everyone had their own space, in our case the elevator was a big plus, the views were gorgeous, the sunsets breathtaking. The house was more than adequately furnished with all our needs. This was our first trip to Cape San Blas but not our last. Silvia Williams with Serenity Beach Rentals was most pleasant to work with and responsive to all our questions regarding points of interest, restaurants, etc. We would definitely rent San-gri-la again! I was somewhat hesitant about sending our $$ to a P.O. Box. I talked to Silvia and she was more than happy to reassure me everything was ok :). In fact I made a couple phone calls to her and she was more than happy to help us out in anything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. Thank You Silvia, you made our vacation fantastic! She was very helpful in answering any of our questions and requests about the property, and made us feel very welcome. We were so happy with our stay at Rising Sun! The house was beautiful and well stocked. We had 3 families (6 adults, 8yr old, 18 month old and a 9 month old). There was plenty of room for everyone and the house being one-story (except for the deck) made it easy on the little ones. We LOVED the screened-in porch. We enjoyed sitting out every morning and evening listening to the waves crash on the beach. The house is set in the perfect spot…quiet neighborhood and literally steps away from the white sandy beach. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off after a day on the beach. We really couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you Silvia for making the house so inviting. We will definitely be back! Never having owned a vacation rental property before, we were initially intimidated by all of the many details involved in making our beach home available for rentals. In addition to managing all of the details scrupulously (rental calendars, taxes, cleaning), she keeps a close eye on our property and maintains it with the same care and attention we would. When we decided to build a home on Cape San Blas and make it available for vacation rentals, we first talked to some of the “bigger” property management companies. It seemed like the safe bet to go with someone who had a long history and a large inventory. Luckily for us, a friend put us in touch with Silvia at Serenity Beach Rentals. At our first meeting, it seemed clear that we weren’t going to be just another client, and that Silvia wasn’t going to take a one-size-fits-all approach. We really liked the business model that she proposed, and felt like she would treat our home as if it were her own. For that reason we decided to give Serenity a try. Since then we haven’t been disappointed. Silvia has followed through with her personal approach, and has been a great help in coordinating all rentals, managing the property, and making sure that our home is taken care of while we are away. It is comforting to know that she personally visits the house before and after each rental to make sure that everything is as it should be. The house is always well prepared for our own visits, allowing us to enjoy the property as much as those who rent it. While we initially decided to work with Serenity because of the personal touch we would get, we were slightly concerned that we might not be able to get as much rental activity as with some of the bigger companies. It turns out we were wrong. Within the very first year we have already had bookings and rental income at higher rates than anticipated, based on comparable numbers from other companies and agents. It makes sense, though, based on the business model. Since Serenity Beach Rentals doesn’t rely on a huge inventory, they make sure that every property’s rental potential is maximized. And because Silvia makes sure that each guest has the best vacation experience possible, we have already had several repeat renters. Overall, we have been extremely happy with our decision to list our property with Serenity Beach Rentals. We feel we have the best of both worlds, one-on-one personalized service as well as proactive effort to market our home and generate rental income. We highly recommend Silvia and Serenity Beach Rentals for anyone considering a rental property management company on the Forgotten Coast.
