Senior Living Residences has over 25 years experience developing, managing and operating senior living communities with specific expertise in Assisted Living and Alzheimer's /Dementia Care in the assisted living setting.
With a strong regional presence in New England, SLR has opened, staffed and managed over 30 independent and assisted living communities for both for-profit companies and not-for-profit organizations, and has provided strategic consulting services on another dozen development projects. The firm currently owns and/or manages 18 communities in Massachusetts, 14 of which have Compass Memory Support Neighborhoods®, with a portfolio value of more than $200 million and over 700 employees.

Robert Larkin started Senior Living Residences (SLR) in 1990, developing one of the first assisted living communities in Massachusetts and building a management company.
Mr. Larkin oversees SLR's business development, regulatory compliance, service performance and quality initiatives. Prior to entering the assisted living industry, Mr. Larkin worked in the real estate development and syndication field. He also served in state government as director of the Massachusetts Securities Division, as Massachusetts Deputy Secretary of State, and as an elected representative in the Massachusetts Legislature. Mr. Larkin received his BA from Boston College and law degree from Suffolk University.
Peter Mullin, co-founder of Senior Living Residences (SLR), offers clients expertise in financial forecasting, asset management, project valuation and funding for senior living developments. He is recognized as an expert in the development and financial operations of mixed-income assisted living projects and has spoken nationally on this topic.
Mr. Mullin developed and oversees SLR's financial management and reporting systems for the company's owned and managed communities. Prior to launching SLR, Mr. Mullin served as Chief Financial Officer for a long-term care facility in Boston MA and as a project planning and budget control manager for a Boston architectural firm. He has a degree in Management Information Systems from Boston University.
Tadd Clelland, Partner at Senior Living Residences (SLR), oversees operations and sales for the firm’s portfolio of communities, including start-ups and operational turnarounds. Mr. Clelland’s executive leadership for SLR also includes business development and personnel recruitment, development and mentorship.

Renee Twerago, an accounting professional with 20 years of experience in privately held companies across a range of industries, specializes in developing finance and administrative support structures to position companies for the next phase of growth. She joined Senior Living Residences (SLR) in 2011.
Prior to joining SLR, Ms. Twerago held senior level finance and administrative positions at several growth oriented companies. Most recently she served as VP of Finance and Administration for Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, LLC, one of the largest commercial real estate firms in Boston MA. Ms. Twerago is a CPA and earned her BS degree in Accounting from SUNY Buffalo and her Masters in Taxation from Bentley College.

MAKING ASSISTED LIVING ACCESSIBLE TO MA SENIORS
Robert Larkin and Peter Mullin, SLR Partners, work with the Massachusetts State Legislature to establish a special SSI program category to increase the affordability of assisted living, and is the first assisted living company in Massachusetts to launch the program in 1996.
