Owners John & Victoria Hill established Secure Coast Home Watch after personally discovering the great need for Home Watch services in the Pinellas County area. Married in 1992, Victoria, a native Floridian, moved to Canada leaving behind a lovely home in Largo, Florida. The challenges of having a unattended home 1500 miles away, soon became painfully obvious. Electrical surges tripped breakers on the air conditioning system creating no air flow, causing mold and the refrigerator had to be replaced. Home received citations for unkempt lawn, as the lawn company was not doing the job they were being paid for. Expensive water bills for small plumbing leakage, and rodents moved in by chewing holes in the soffit and entering the home. “We needed a reliable advocate to help us keep an eye on our home. In speaking to other seasonal homeowners, we soon realized this was a common problem for many folks. Having recently moved back into the Clearwater area, we decided to launch Secure Coast Home Watch, to provide seasonal, secondary and snowbird homeowners assistance”.
