While animal programs and interactions have historically been our cornerstones, husbandry training has always been a lesser talked about point of focus for our staff. Many times we have had the good fortune of cooperating with animal caregivers who share their depth of knowledge for the species that they work with in trade for an education on how operant conditioning could better help them accomplish their goals and enrich their collection. Because of these amazing opportunities we are proud to include virtually any species you will find in a zoo or aquarium amongst those we have firsthand experience with. We have conditioned birds and trained staff for the development of some of the largest interactive aviaries around. Our team has been involved in the animal and staff training for and implementation of a variety shows and educational programs that have included a diverse group of birds of prey, waterfowl, hornbills, toucans, parrots, cranes, seriemas, pigeons, and much more. Also, we have trained an assortment of free flight birds that were used for park promotions and traveled the country making appearances at a variety of events, as well as, radio and TV studios.
