Scott is the Managing Principal of MillsonJames, which he founded in 2010. Scott consults in the areas of HR technology, HR administration, and benefits management. Prior to founding MillsonJames, Scott was a Partner/Owner with Hewitt Associates (now AonHewitt), where he served in various leadership capacities over his 17 year career with the organization. Following his time with Hewitt, he served as President of a mid-market HR Outsourcing and Benefits Administration company in the Southeast. Scott’s expertise is centered on all things HR technology—payroll, HRIS, benefits administration, private exchanges, applicant tracking, performance management, time/attendance, and related HR areas. Over his 25+ year career, he has worked with clients of all sizes and across all industries—including Citigroup, Verizon Wireless, The Hartford, Mervyns Department Stores, Gannett, and Alcoa. Scott has also consulted with many HR service organizations, helping them maximize their effectiveness and market penetration. Scott is a frequent speaker on HR Technology and has been published in the Florida Society of Human Resource Management magazine. Several topics on which Scott has spoken recently include, Engaging the Millennial Generation, Maximizing Efficiency with HR Technology, Who/How/Why of Private Exchanges, and the very popular Ten Commandments of HR Technology. Margaret Godwin brings nearly 20 years of Human Capital Management experience to the clients of MillsonJames. Margaret began her career with Hewitt Associates, a global leader in Human Resources solutions for Fortune 500 companies. While at Hewitt Associates (now AonHewitt), she held the position of Health & Welfare Benefits Operations Manager, supporting clients ranging in size from 1,000 to over 100,000. Most recently, prior to joining MillsonJames, Margaret shifted gears to focus on the small to mid-market business segment and held the position of Account Manager for a national benefits administration company. Her entire career has been dedicated to building and maintaining the ongoing relationships between the clients, benefits administrators, brokers, strategic partners and vendors. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stetson University and a Masters of Human Resources from Rollins College. Margaret is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has earned her Professional of Human Resources (PHR) certification. MillsonJames leverages our depth of knowledge and vast industry expertise to help make the selection and utilization of HR technology simple and compelling.
