VC backed startup developing innovative and patented, global digital and mobile payment solutions. Parlaying a long standing client agreement into a full time position with this brand new startup I was brought in to oversee all existing infrastructure and development while a team was built out. I then was paramount in leading the development on flagship products which included integrations with e-commerce platforms including BigCommerce and Magento coupled with a backend core RESTful API service development. I originally developed the ColdFusion-based v1 product and lead development team in PHP-based v2 product development writing a majority of the codebase. Created Magento shopping cart platform extension which is currently live on the Magento Marketplace. I was also then a member of development team creating back-end API Go language based core API system where I got my start with Go Lang. I also took over management of server infrastructure at AWS and transitioned to custom hardware and virtualization implementation which included load testing and security auditing. SHired as a senior programmer and in short order created position of Web Systems Manager as a combination of technological and marketing initiatives to bridge the gap between IT, Sales and Marketing with online initiatives. Oversaw all development and design of web marketing initiatives. Developed, maintained and lead teams in creation of 5 global website properties and several internal intranet applications critical to business needs. Language usage included ColdFusion, JavaScript, ASP, PHP and custom API usage via Redgate and LiveChat software. Includes creation of custom online store for both internal and external needs, unique integrations with electronic stimulation cochlear implant products and online management. Brought together various disparate products and business procedures for complete e-commerce workflow from order placement to fulfillment. Managed off-site contractors, hired development agencies; recruited and lead team of in-house developers. Developed applications that interface between various databases, CRM/ERP applications and web applications for complete and innovative solutions responding to business needs.
