SciTeens is a social network for teen scientists by teen scientists. We encourage you to collaborate with peers and share your research, prototypes, and working models with other teens just like you. Although high school STEM education is continually improving and becoming more innovative, the opportunities for students at this level are not. We intend to bridge that gap between education and opportunity, particularly for students from low-resource areas. Collaboration is the common thread in all great modern science. SciTeens was created to promote teamwork and cohesion within the international teen science community. Teen scientists have an incredibly powerful brainmass, after all, so there’s no challenge too great to conquer if we come together and put our minds to it. Finding someone to help you formulate your questions and experiments is typically an elusive task, especially as a pre-career scientist. Through SciTeens, you can connect with grad students, post-docs, and other field experts to help you work through your scientific research. Science fairs come around every couple of months, but the timeline may not match up with that of your project. Share completed projects, ideas, and proposals with your scientific peers through SciTeens, and even peer-review each other’s work. Grad students and professionals may not have time to read your work, but another teen scientist surely will! Join Sciteens
