Scion Networks is: A small business that supports a team of communications and training professionals who design and deliver customized instructional products on an outsourced basis. O ur products and services include: Books, manuals, policies, procedures, online help, etc. When founding the company during the early days of the Internet (San Francisco, 1995), we chose this metaphor to illustrate our practice of merging proven communications methodologies (rootstock) with the potential of new media (scion).​ The metaphor continues to serve us well as we continue to meld our experience in traditional techniques with our passion for new technologies and paradigms.
