The company was founded with the passion and purpose of creating a product that would enhance beauty and health. Every formulation was designed in response to a particular need expressed by the founder, her relations, friends or acquaintances.  Therefore, all the attention and dedication was applied to solve the aesthetics concerns while underlying health issues.  This is one of the primary reasons why her products are formulated taking into account the effectiveness and synergy of ingredients and not by the cost of these.  Once a perfume, lotion or potion produces extraordinary results the logistics of pricing is then considered.  Scented Potions focuses in the production of superb products while providing optimal results. Known by loved ones as the love doctor, Damaris Nightingale is not only the founder of Scented Potions but the creator and mastermind behind all of its products. At an early age Damaris realized that the skin and hair products on the market were very damaging, so she began mixing her own lotions and potions. Soon friends and family started asking her to mix concoctions for their plethora of skin problems. Since then, Damaris has been on a journey to find the answer to all our pressing skin care questions. This journey has taken her to Grasse, where she studied aromatherapy, to France, where she studied and practiced perfumery. While in Egypt she meet with apothecaries to further her knowledge. What started out as concoctions and experiments when she was just a young girl has lasted over 20 years and taken her around the globe. Keeping in mind that the skin our largest organ we only use the finest and purest ingredients in our products. You will never see such things like water (which dries out skin) or petroleum (which clogs pores) in any of our products.
