Growing up in Tampa’s Latin community provided Nicole with a strong work ethic and the necessary communication skills to succeed in business. She was raised in the restaurant/bar industry and was surrounded by many prominent business owners. After learning several aspects of this industry, she launched an international modeling career and then spent time working in both Europe and Hong Kong. In 1996, Nicole returned to Tampa and got involved doing on/off premise Liquor promotions and modeled for the Home Shopping Network. Throughout the years, Nicole gained extensive experience in the Hospitality/Promotional Industry. This experience provided her with an in-depth understanding of staffing events with promotional teams and the professionalism needed to succeed in promotional endeavors. In 1999, Nicole opened her own business, Scannell Productions, servicing a few liquor and beverage companies throughout the Tampa Bay area. Thirteen years later, Scannell Productions’ services have expanded to include the entire state of Florida, houses over 100 clients and 3,000 employees. After thirteen years of business and tremendous growth, Nicole Scannell has perfected her craft and remains true to her philosophy of service. As a result, her dedication to her business makes Scannell Productions an outstanding company. Nicole Scannell won the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2012 “Woman of the Year” by raising $32,000 for blood cancer research. The candidates completed ten weeks in honor of children who are local blood cancer survivors, the Boy & Girl of the Year. Her relentless effort focused on making life better for hundreds of thousands of patients battling blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Scannell Productions Scannell Productions can provide staffing for any type of event. Clients please look under the “Book an Event” tab and choose what type of event you want to book. Please fill out the form with as many details as possible. We will contact you once event is booked. When you work with Scannell Productions you are an independent contractor, not an employee. Working as an Independent Contractor (IC) means you have the option to apply for those event opportunities of interest, in your local area or across the country. IC’s are self-employed and responsible for all applicable taxes. You must complete and send us your W9 form prior to your first event. Once approved by Scannell Productions, in order to receive open promotions, make sure your personal profile is up-to-date and all your new hire paperwork is turned in. Make sure you have selected your City Markets, areas where you would like to receive open jobs. You will begin receiving open promotions in the City Markets selected. If you are chosen and booked for an event you will receive a confirmation email stating “you are BOOKED” with paperwork for that event and additional details. . Example: staff who worked events Dec 26th-Jan 25th will mail on Feb 1; all Jan 26th-Feb 25th events will mail March 1, etc. (Provided that you have fulfilled all of the contractor requirements; timesheets, event photos, recap forms, etc.). If you haven’t received your check within 10 business days of mailing, please notify the accounting department. You must contact the accounting department by email or phone. Provide the product, date, and location you worked along with your question. Unless otherwise specified we require all staff to wear all black business professional attire at all events. Women can wear an all black dress, black skirt with a black blouse, black slacks, etc. Men please wear black pants and black buttoned down shirt.
