Mr. Mitchell has worked in the high-tech industry with Fortune 500 companies and start-up ventures his entire career. He is a proven business builder, having been appointed repeatedly to transform large global organizations into high performing growth engines. Most recently, Mr. Mitchell was President & CEO of Compass Group, a full-service management and consulting company providing advanced SaaS software solutions to a wide spectrum of clients. Mr. Mitchell has held global executive leadership positions at Thomson Reuters, Siemens and LexisNexis Group and was an executive for the first e-marketplace start-up in the consumer packaged goods industry. He started his career at Xerox focusing on digital document management and has extensive experience in providing enterprise content management, SaaS and cloud based solutions to every vertical sector.
Andy Tran has over 20 years’ experience in the technology industry. His vertical experiences include SaaS, print-and-fulfillment, healthcare, and financial services. Prior to joining Scan-Optics, Mr. Tran held senior management positions at leading companies including Equinix, Unisource, Bertelsmann, Microsoft, and the Travelers. He has been instrumental in the conceptualization and architecture of many industry-changing cloud-based online and mobile products. The last 15 years he has been hands-on in start-ups, turnarounds, and mergers & acquisitions.
In his spare time, Mr. Tran loves tinkering with new technologies while trying to improve his golf game on the weekends. Mr. Tran holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota and received his Masters in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
Mr. Kingdon is Managing Director of Scan Optics Ltd based in London. In 2015, he wanted to find a new venture in software and services and to create a new marketplace. Scan Optics was doing just that, transforming markets with easy.forward™ and the easy.forward™ Alliance, a service-oriented architecture (SOA) centered on the capture and digital distribution of data. Prior to Scan Optics, Mr. Kingdon was the founder and Managing Director of Bladetec Ltd, a £10 Million blade computing company focused on financial services, government and military throughout EMEA. In 1995, he founded the European operations for New York based, Box Hill Systems – later Dot Hill – now part of Seagate Technology, and built the company to $50M in EMEA.
He is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars on topics such as Data Storage Strategy, Business Continuance, Blade Computing Architecture, Large Scale PC deployment, and Ultra Secure Computing. When he’s not working, you can find him diving in some remote place in the world.
Mr. Campbell is responsible for overseeing all organic sales & marketing growth initiatives for Scan Optics across multiple business verticals and strategic channel alliances. His marketing roadmap includes digital communication, traditional advertising and reseller channel programs. Prior to Scan-Optics, Mr. Campbell was the founder of Universal Business, increasing revenue by 460% in just four years. He also held executive leadership roles at W.B Mason Company including Senior Vice President of Sales, Distribution and Customer Care over a 23-year period.
Mr. Gidman leads all operations and production at Scan-Optics. He joined the company with nearly 30 years’ operations experience in a wide variety of industries. Most recently, he spent 10 years leading the operations process team for a multi-billion-dollar advertising and distribution group in North America. Prior to that, he spent significant time in health care working in diagnostic laboratories, and diagnostic equipment manufacturing. Before working in the healthcare space, he held leadership positions with defense contractors and was an industry expert in ceramic bearing manufacturing starting up locations in Sweden and France.
