We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the felines with whom we all share our lives. We value treating them compassionately, with dignity, respect, and understanding. We care about their quality of life and strive to treat our feline guests as we would our own pets. SOCKS provides a caring, home-like environment, free of cages, for over 70 cats and kittens throughout the year. Cats with special requirements are cared for in an environment best suited for their needs. Yearly we find homes for over 400 cats and kittens. Our Mission is to provide a healthy, no kill shelter for cats and kittens awaiting adoption.
