This project will require special approvals to change the zoning of the church from 'community-use' to a standard commercial property. We intend to fight the zoning change as one plan of action. We are NOT against this project. In fact, the only issue we have is building this project in a neighborhood � any neighborhood � where it does not belong. There are a number of other areas right here in Wilton Manors that would be much better suited to this hotel-spa and entertainment facility and, in the process, would add value to the surrounding area rather than destroy a thriving neighborhood. to read the article in the Sun-Sentinel regarding the G Resort's decision to leave Wilton Manors all together.
