Pyramid Books is a community bookstore, therefore it also appeals to educators. We coordinated the Author Showcase for the State Of The Black Union with Tavis Smiley seen on CSPAN, And in 2002, we helped coordinate the Authors Showcase for the Black Caucus of African American Librarians’ national conference. Pyramid Books also partners with the African American Research Library and Cultural Center in Fort Lauderdale to sponsor the Pan African Bookfest and Cultural Conference and other literary events throughout the year. Pyramid Books celebrates Black History Month 365 days a year to educate all people about the African Diaspora;educating and expressing to the world the beauty and culture of a great people.
