Sanibel Bicycle Club, Inc., established on March 19, 2007, is a Florida non-profit organization dedicated to fostering cycling enthusiasm and promoting safe biking practices in the Sanibel community. The Sanibel Bicycle Club focuses on three key mission areas: providing a platform for cycling advocates to connect and socialize, advocating for the development of biking-friendly infrastructure, and enhancing bike safety awareness. This commitment is underscored by their latest initiative, the production of an impactful local bike safety video in collaboration with other major partners. The video features involvement from prominent community figures such as Henry Crater (student at Sanibel School), Doug Congress (former Sanibel City Council member and Vice Mayor), Neal Halleran (notable Sanibel resident), and Anna Nguyen (Fort Myers resident and frequent visitor).
