We wanted our house to have more of an open concept in the main living area, so we hired Sandifer Custom Homes to help us remove a load bearing wall between the living room and the dining room. This was a major engineering project since the wall supported the weight of the roof and the wall opening spanned over 30ft. The work involved the installation of LVL beams, support columns, electrical, drywall, paint and tile repair. We hired Nick and his team to build a fully covered outdoor addition, including an outdoor fireplace, sitting and dining areas, outdoor shower, storage closet and outdoor kitchen. From the design phase to completion everyone was helpful and accommodating. Nick worked hard to come up with cost effective design choices that still gave us exactly what we wanted. If an issue came up multiple solutions were presented and the best solution quickly implemented. Everyone arrived on time per schedule and performed quality work. The team was very flexible with the design changes from our side. Months after the project was complete and we needed help with hurricane damage to the roof, Nick did not hesitate to arrange someone to come out inspect and fix the damage. Overall a very positive experience, would definitely use Sandifer Custom Homes for another project.
