Mike Witherspoon, Partner, began his professional career as a District Executive with the Boy Scouts in Mississippi and later moved to Prentice Hall Professional Software in Atlanta where he rose to the General Manager of Marketing Channels Division. He then joined Arthur Andersen accounting as a Partner Channel Manager, working with resellers to market tax software.
Mike founded Focal Point Marketing to provide outsourced recruiting and marketing services to small technology companies. In 1998 he moved to NuesoftTechnologies, building the sales team marketing medical-practice management to privatempracticesmand higher education. He then joined the group that founded Connexxia, the first social media company focused on recruiting for colleges and universities.
In 2007 he joined Jon McRae & Associates, Inc. as chief operations officer until the firm was sold and relocated to Macon. He then joined RDA Systems as Vice President of Sales for accounting software to local school systems and government. As Collegiate Counsel was reorganized in 2016 he rejoined Jon McRae as Director of Research and Administration and continues to serve as a trusted advisor.
