Saladino Dance Productions is a company created by the husband and wife team of Rome Saladino and MarinaPutane. Together they have over 40 years experience on stage, in theatre and dance productions. They have both toured the world together as a dance couple and separately, in their own endeavors as performers. Saladino Dance Productions is a company that produces entertainment of all genres and styles. Although dance is our forte, we have the abilities to produce musical revues or circus-styled performances, as well. We have provided entertainment for The Uruguayan/American Cultural Council, the Young Patronesses of the Opera Annual Ball 2009 & 2011, Boca Ballet Theatre’s Spring Fundraiser, as well as other local events. The newest creation of Saladino Dance Productions is the song and dance revue, . It’s a tribute to the legendary Gene Kelly. Rome Saladino conceived the idea while going back to school at the Department of Theatre and Dance at the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters at Florida Atlantic University. He and his wife Marina Putane had toured the world as lead dancers and had a child, Anton. They realized they had to re-navigate their world tour to south Florida, where Rome grew up and has some family ties. He decided to back to school tohelp him find more stable work, like a professorship in theatre or dance.
