At Saiola Charters we prefer that the bareboat charter guest who will operate the boat have some previous experience on a boat of similar size and, in some cases, at least one competent crew member. NauticEd also provides a free online electronic logbook and sailing resume or you can download our Sailing Resume form and email or fax it to your booking agent, and we will work with you through the process. Our goal at Saiola Charters is simple. We want to make your bareboat charter a pleasant and fun experience, whether you’re new to chartering or are an old hand. We’ve partnered with the best shipyards in the world and take great care to choose yachts that provide sailing performance as well as great comfort and space. All of our yachts in Croatia or the Caribbean, are eiher new or less than 4 years old. Our yachts come from such innovative yacht builders as Salona, Beneteau, Lagoon and Jeanneau. If you lose more than 4 hours (during working hours) we will refund you one full day. If the repair takes more than 1 day, we will provide you with a similar boat or refund you on a pro rata basis. In case of emergency, you can rely on our hot line, at any time, 7 days a week. You love sailing, yet, experiencing the sheer joy of an afternoon reach in a 15-knot breeze and you want to fly your spinnaker but you don’t have the right crew ? You want to anchor and go swimming on an idyllic anchorage but you are affright of leaving the boat alone ? No problem, at an extra cost we can add a skipper or deck crew to help you sail your boat. Prices depends on the destination. Everyone can participate! Saiola Charters can provide a professional skipper for you and your friends and family. The skipper will know everything about the yacht, the route and the event! Manyof the people who charted boat with is have never been on a yacht before. Our goal is to make it possible for everyone to have the time of their lives! We, therefore, provide skippers that will will help you navigate your yacht throughout the week. Our yachts are high quality for extended cruising, but the living space on a sailboat is compact. Think of a high-end motor home on the water. We'll make you as comfortable as can be and you will feel right at home in just a few hours. The skipper will stay on the yacht with you and your friends and family throughout the whole week. This also means that he/she will be a part of your holiday as a friend! The skipper will help you take care of the yacht and, if you want to, teach you how to sail!
